Of the parrot training systems available on
the Internet right now, one seems to stand
out because of the quality of information it
gives, and the results it gives.
Because greys score high on intelligence
they require lots of mental stimulation or
they will redirect that creativity and
energy to more destructive activities,
screaming, and other bad habits.
|
Therefore one of the
very best things you can do for your
grey is to keep them busy, interactive
and curious with new tasks and toys. Taming Training and Tricks does just
that. It's not only a trick
training system, but a complete system
to help birds overcome many relational
obstacles such as biting, screaming and
running for its owner.

The Most Powerful System For
Training Your African Grey |
This 3
DVD and workbook system comes very neatly
packaged, well labelled, and as I was
pleasantly surprised to find out, is just
loaded with demonstration after live
demonstration of training previously
untrained birds to learn the basics like
touch, up to quite complex tricks.
The
methods used were exacting and consistent,
and the results were not only fast, but dead
on every time. And, you just can't fake that
in what is clearly a "live" setting with
untrained birds!

See How Dave Trained Cressi with
This System |
From the first DVD "Volume 1," it was
apparent that the Womach brothers understood
the subject matter. They began Volume 1 with
a parrot who did not like Dave at all, and
lunged at him several times to bite.
It was obvious this bird had no
previous training!
|
Dave
first explained that before he could move on
to more complex tricks, that the bird had to
build trust and that touch was an important
part of that process. Over the next 10 minutes he demonstrated,
live, the method used to get the bird to
trust him, and eventually fully handle him.
Right away the style of instruction was laid
out for the rest of the DVD. Clear, short
steps using lots of positive reinforcement
and a regimented, well thought out plan. You
see every step, both good and shaky, and the
nice, sharp picture and good lighting make
it easy to see the parrot's reactions as
well.
| Every trick is demonstrated live as it
happens and it's very easy to follow along
because of their regimented, predictable
style that proves to gain amazing results.
