I bought an aviator harness a few months ago but I have yet to put it on Darcy. The DVD is genius and teaches you how to train your bird how to get used to the harness before you even show it to them so they do not fear it. I'm looking forward to one day feeling confident enough to introduce him to wearing it without him rejecting it. I'm sure once he finds out how great walks outside are he wont regret it! Its a bit more expensive than the other harnesses but I think it was worth it too!

I have the aviator harness too. Gandolf will wear it but he doesn't really like it to much. Out of the other harness I have it is the easiest to get on. Angela

If I get my bird during the winter, should I start working with it with a aviator harness to get it ready for warmer times?

They say that it is a good idea to put the harness on while inside the house and leave it on for a little while (without the leash on ). Then increase the amount of time.
