Hi to all, I have joined this site as myself and my husband are planning to buy a African Grey in a few months. We are huge bird lovers and this is something we have though about for a while now.
We have 2 Kakariki Parrots at the moment and are very funny at times, About 3 months ago we purchased an African grey cage to keep them in as they are very active birds. We are planning to build an Avery so they can fly all the time.
I am in contact with a breeder, so that is all in hand, but i wanted to learn so much about them, like diets, toys, training etc, before i get mine. I have made mistakes with my first Kakarikis which i have learnt from in the past. Now i know alot about my Kakarikis they are full of beans and perfectly healthy. I dont think anyone should just buy a bird for a spur of the moment thing.
Any tips will be grateful.
Love to all
