I found it good for inspiration lately.  It's easy to get stuck with giving them the same foods over again.  Blue is loving full boiled eggs with the shell on at the minute.

Thank you so much for taking your time to help out all of the CAG owners, this was VERY helpful!  My husband is on the way to the store right now to get some proper food!

Claude is being a bit (understatement of the year) fussy lately and I've just popped in to find if there's anything on here that can give me inspiration, I've came across Goji berries and Soy nuts the other day and bought him some (he hasn't eaten any yet) but I have searched for them and can't find them on any good or bad lists. Can anyone help?

Ooo and he has gone off his mash but used to love potato, however I find this link that said it's bad for him http://parrotbirdcenter.com/dangerous-foods-for-parrots/ - now I'm worried! Any help gratefully received. Undecided

annies, green potatoes are not supposed to be eaten by humans so i certainly wouldn't feed them to a bird.  Potatoes are fine for parrots.

Nicki, that was soooo helpful! I still worry about that one nut someone told me about! (can't remember) But at least I know the nuts I CAN give her. Sophie is a fruit, veggie, nut girl!  Nancy

I see alot that egg shells are good for calcium.  That just seems weird to me.  Is it supposed to be at least boiled first?  Do I mix the shell with some egg?
