hi lilli
well done and thank you for helping this little birdy.
every one of uis here dread our little ones getting lost.

if im wrong in this assumption please excuse me, but if your not used to parrots can i point out a few crutial things to keep this little guy safe and well til you find his mum.

coffee, chocolate, and avocado are all highly toxic to parrots, as is alcohol. raw onion is also to be avoided.

anything containing teflon that overheats such as non stick pans, sandwich toasters etc produce a gas toxic to parrots we cant see or smell it.

thank you again for what your doing.

ali

Hi, I lost an African Grey Parrot in NY on 5/14/10 His name is  Dusty and he is banded.  I know it is a long shot for him to end up in West Virginia, however his wings are not clipped and they are known to fly up to 50 miles a day. Please let me know if this bird is banbed.  There is a $2500.00 reward for Dusty, Thank you

Its a nice thought gary but please don't post information from I'd tags on a public forum, its the only way you have to prove ownership if someone finds your bird and anyone who reads the forum would then have access to use it as 'proof' of ownership should they come across your bird :/

The sad thing is that people post on here with a lost parrot, few of them keep us updated on  whether they were found or not, i really wish they would.  Cry Cry
