Please HELP - our African Grey Parrot flew away on 5/14/10 in the North Bronx/Mount Vernon/Westchester area (Kingsbridge & Pratt). His name is "Dusty" he is mostly grey with bright red tail and slightly larger than a Pigeon. If anyone see or find him please call (917) 453-2865 or (917) 282-0669. A reward of $2,500.00 will be given, no question or we will buy you your own Grey. He is likely to be flying around in somones backyard, he will respond to his name or a whistle. He talks and will probably say hello and come for u to pick him up. He is our baby and we miss him very much and want him back home, I know he is scared without us, please help, heartbroken. Thank you.

sorry i cant help as i live in the uk, but there are plenty on here from AMERICAN who may be able to good luck in finding him, please keep us all informed on your hunt  |

have you put flyer's out and ask all the kids in the neighbour hood to look, also the animal rescue people has anyone handed a parrot in, ask vets,.police good luck keep us informed |

Yes flyers, and postcard into mailboxes, asked the kids, shelters, nature habitat, police and everyone is telling us that we have done everything, but nothing. We are heartbroken and keep hoping that he will come home, or that someone willl call and say they have him. Do not know what to do, miss him so much, just keep thinking about him constantly and wondering where could he be. Check a lot of websites also, any help is apprecited, thanks.

I won't. I hope and pray that if someone has him, they will do the right thing and return him to us. Please I hope they find it in their heart to do that, would'nt you return a child to their parents, he is missing and loved and we want him home, it is really heartbreaking and we know that he must be stressed when he does not see us. If anyone know of anything about his whereabouts or have him, please call us, no questions ask, we just want him home, we will buy you your own Baby Grey, he is a family member and he loves to get his head scratched and only one person is allowed to do that. He will start pulling out his feathers, please ease our pain and return him and you will also be helping Dusty and the reward for you will be happiness in your heart because you did the right thing.
