only F10 for me you use so little if you dilute it as per instructions so works out value for money. Would not use bleach or anything else. F10 is safe even if its digested. And i take the cage outside and use the jet washer on it once a fortnight.

Dave... don't tell me, you are a BRIT also? WHERE are the Americans? LOL F10 sounds great! I personally use a 5% bleach solution, and "powerwash cages", but... I am going to look for this F10 solution, and give it a try! Its tough in the winter, to take cages out and powerwash.  Nancy M

Yes, Dave is a brit <wink>..... saying that, i am talking about general cage cleaning, the daily tasks...for my avairy decorations, ropes etc, I bleach them after the summer season, then stick them in the washing machine.......in the spring I hang them back up all "white" and clean..the sun gets rid of any "nasties" left.

What do you guys use to clean "gyms"? I have more gyms then cages. Sophie has a metal cage, which she "loves", because she can slide down the sides. Her gym is easy to clean. Kiki's gym,  NOT so easy. Wooden, with lots of different branches. Her toys are much more complicated. She has "bridges", wooden toys that are very complicated. Sunny"s gym is easy. He loves mirrors and bells. I am a powerwash kind of girl! Just challenged, with Kiki's stuff. Thinking of buying her a "net rope", you hang from the ceiling!  Nancy

haha  Grin Grin Grin Grin you need a helping hand if you have one of those plastic playgyms, it knocks them over  Roll Eyes but for the java trees with the big heavy bases you can do it alone......mine jetwasher is only the size of a domestic hoover.....damn powerful though, worth its weight in gold...
